  • What geographic areas do you cover?

    Memory Lane Home Health Care provides healthcare services in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, Orange, Lake of the Woods, Culpeper, Westmoreland, and Colonial Beach. If you don’t see your location listed, please contact us to see if we service your area.

  • Are Memory Lane Home Health Team Members employees or contractors?

    All of our caregivers are employees of Memory Lane Home Health Care. Their activities in your home are monitored and supervised by our team of RN, LPN, and CNA case managers who maintain weekly contact with you and the caregiver to ensure the best possible care. Memory Lane Home Health Care provides ongoing training monthly so our caregivers are always knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest techniques.

  • Are your employees insured and bonded?

    Memory Lane Home Health Care employees are insured (liability and worker’s compensation) and bonded.

  • Are you licensed?

    Memory Lane Home Health Care is a licensed Home Care Agency. We are an employee based organization for all employee payroll matters including federal and social security taxes and worker’s compensation insurance.

  • What are the minimum hours of service Memory Lane Home Health Care provides?

    Memory Lane Home Health Care requires three hours per visit.

  • What are your hourly rates?

  • Do you accept Medicare and Medicaid?

    Memory Lane Home Health Care does not accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time.

  • What forms of payment does Memory Lane Home Health Care accept?

    We accept the following forms of payment:

    • Private Pay
    • Long Term Insurance
    • Veterans Aid & Attendance Benefit
  • Do I need to sign a contract?

    You are not bound to a defined time period. Memory Lane Home Health Care uses a Client Servicing Agreement, which details contract information, services desired, and an assessment of your needs.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    Memory Lane Home Health Care has a 24-hour cancellation policy. The client needs to contact the office 24 hours in advance to cancel or make changes.

    Termination of Services requires a one week notice (7 days). Clients cancelling services within 7 days may be billed for the remainder of the scheduled shifts for that week. This fee may be waived when care is terminated due to circumstances beyond the control of the client or designated family members.

  • How is my caregiver selected?

    Caregiver selection is based on information you provide to the Memory Lane Home Health Care Case Manager who personally meets with you prior to start of service. Your caregiver will be chosen according to personality and experience needed to meet your needs.

  • Does Memory Lane Home Health Care provide service outside the home?

    Yes Memory Lane Home Health Care provides services in local Assisted Living Communities, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Communities, Hospitals, and Rehabilitation Centers.

  • Am I able to get in contact with someone from Memory Lane Home Health Care in the evening or after normal office hours?

    We are available by phone 24 hours a day. If it is after normal office hours you can leave a message with our answering service and your phone call will be returned with in 30 minutes.

  • Do your hourly rates change on nights and weekends?

    Memory Lane Home Health Care uses the same rate for days and nights. There is a differential for weekends and holidays. Contact our office for details.

  • Does Memory Lane Home Health Care keep consistent caregivers with each client?

    Absolutely, depending on hours and schedule of client. Memory Lane Home Health Care is a firm believer that consistency is everything when it comes to care and building trustworthy relationships.

  • Are your employees trained in first aid and CPR?

    Yes, all employees are First Aid and CPR certified.

  • Are you trained in Dementia Care and Alzheimer’s care?

    Memory Lane Home Health Care specializes in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care. We go above and beyond with our Alzheimer’s and Dementia training.
